Bye Bye Boyfriend

Hello everyone, East Side Angie is here again. So if you read my first entry, you will know about my outed friend Miss X. Well, least to say Miss X told her boyfriend all about her new attractions. He thought she was just kidding. She told me the whole story earlier over the phone, believe me, her boyfriend is an idiot.

So she told him, he thought that she was joking. Miss X tried to tell him that she was telling the truth but he just refused to listen, typical man of course. He then basically dismissed her and told his friends about this so called "joke" Miss X had played, only for them to laugh in her face. Could he be more of an asshole, how could he do that to her?

Anyway, soon he discovered that she was telling him the truth. At this point his friends stopped laughing at Miss X and started laughing at her "boyfriend" Mr Y. But oh well, its what that jackass deserves if you ask me, he was always a bit of an idiot, even before this whole fiasco. So now they are officialy broken up, Miss X coming out on top, because she is strong and independant, her ass of an ex coming out on the bottom, because he was humiliated.

I only wish I could have been there to see all of this play out, I had to get all the info off of my friend. Hopefully she wasn't being too biased towards herself anyway :P

Chocolates Before Breakfast

Hello everyone, East Side Angie here. Something very surprising happened to me today.

I got up in the morning, totally beat after being up basically the whole entire night before. (I was awake at like 4). Anyway there was a box of chocolates waiting outside our door! A few possibilities here :

1) Someone's crushing on me

2) Someone's crushing on my dad

3) Someone's crushing on my mother

4) Someone dropped a box of chocolates by our door by accident

So many things have been happening in my life lately. My friend comes out last week (only wrote about it like 2 days ago but whatever) and now we have this.

But hey, a girl can't complain can she? I doubt many of you would. One of my best friends, lets call her "Jess" told me she knows who gave us these oh so tasty chocolates...but she says I should figure it out for myself. But ugh, I can't right now! SAT's are totally coming up this year! So, any suggestions guys?

Does Mother Really Know Best?

Hello everyone, East Side Angie is here again. I notice I am not getting many readers, hopefully I can change this over time. Anyway, after my last blog post I left Manhattan and travelled upstate with my mom to visit my grandma. Things didn't go very well between the two, to say the least. My grandma is one of those people who believes in the saying "those who can't do, teach" You've heard it right? We all have. Why cant my grandma and mom be like those two? ---->

So as you can imagine, she doesn't approve of my sister studying to be a teacher. She had been drinking a lot of cherry, was a bit drunk and blurted out her feelings to my mom, who knew these feelings, but never heard them being said out loud. Least to say, an argument insued between mother and daughter. It even lead to my mom critizing her mother on how she had raised her! I know right? Talk about over the top. Grandma was very heart by this. She told us that she wanted us to leave straight away. As you can imagine I was very uncomfortable during this whole conversation to say the least.

As my mother left to go into the car, Grandma called me back for a second and told me to tell my mom she didn't want to see her for a long time. I guess there is another saying thats wrong, you can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family, yes it is true, but as for my grandmother, shes certainly choosing the family members who she wants to stay away from her.

I know I should be more upset over this, but they fight a lot, I know they will make up...At least I think so. Anyway must go now.

Come Out, Come Out, Wherever You Are...

Hello everyone, I'm Angela W. But you can call me Angie. I live in the upper east side of Manhattan (hence my screen name). But don't worry, I'm not stuck up or anything as you might think from where I'm from. I can't help where I was raised.

Anyway, boy have I got a surprise for you guys that makes a fabulous first blog entry. I was lucky to have such an eventful thing happen to write about. So I have a friend, who I will refer to as Miss X. Now Miss X and I have been friends for about 4 years. Since we started high school together (now in our final year). After taking us to local club G-Spot, Miss X had a rather shocking announcement to make. Because, none other then Miss X came out of the closet. Now believe me, I was just as shocked as you are, I mean I had no idea. Now don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with this, your talking to a hige Ellen DeGeneres fan here after all ;) Anyway, it came as a shock for 2 big reasons.

1) Miss X had kept this secret from me and the other girls for years
2) Miss X already has a boyfriend

I know can you believe? How is he gonna take this? He doesn't actually go to my school, a boys school on the upper east side (local UES's can guess which one for themselves) But let me tell you, chaos will insue, not to mention the humiliation he will indure. But I am glad for my friend, Miss X, she did the right thing. And as for what goes on between her and her "boyfriend" I'll keep you posted.
